Academy Idol goes on, and it turns out that "Ash" is ahead of the pack by two points... Soon I'll be enlisting help in my search...
To boost the prize, I'm now removing the main prize being my padawan... And now awarding a award... No matter it be a Offical Jedi Academy Award or not, but I will be giving a (un)Offical Award for most prestigous player in the Jedi Academy. So that means anyone can compete, and this will be getting much more serious and open in the challenges. So all too particapate... The (un)Offical award for Most Prestigous Player in the Jedi Academy will be award to player who know the most, plays the most, known the most, and generally a all around great player. So too all who wish to join, here is your first challenge: Find the secret of the velocity increase jump (can be demostrated on the Jedi Academy map in the forbiddon temple) and jump from the one side of the gap(ramp side) to the other side (entrance side). You can do this ONLY in two jumps with force, if you want to. If you see me in a server, you may also demostrate to me this. Also, if you are making a demo, or showing me, you MUST explain to me how you did this, and how the velocity increase was acheived. And now what everyone is waiting for... In 1534, with 61 men, Cartier explored and named the shores of the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Only the Strait of Belle Isle was known to European fishermen at that time. He took possession of the new territory in the name of the King and then, as did most explorers of the time, returned to France with two Native people (Taignoagny and Domagaya) kidnapped in Gaspé in order, as Cartier wrote, to get information from them. In 1535, guided by Taignoagny and Domagaya, Cartier became the first European to penetrate the St. Lawrence River to "Canada," an Iroquois name for part of the region that became known as Quebec. The Native people of Stadacona (Quebec) having refused to accompany him, Cartier found other guides near present-day Portneuf to lead him to Hochelaga (Montreal).
