Does the site look a month old to you? Well it is! Recent server nuttyness has thrown the Jedi Academy one month in the past. I'm working on updating what I can. Right now adding comments, enrolling in classes, and applying to the JA is disabled until I get the site back on its feet. Those of you who don't see their profile pictures will need to email them to me. If you see ANY error on the site or something not looking right please comment on this post, or if your login isn't here anymore plz email me.

That's right kids I'm putting together a newsletter for the whole academy. It will be released(hopefully) every two weeks. It will contain news on tournaments, mods, maps, models, etc. Basically anything to do with Jedi Knight 2. But to collect all this info I need to hire some "news reporters." Bascially the task will be to collect news from various sites, clans, zone, etc. Bascially anything goes, just don't be a pest  If you're interested please Email me with your name, why you would make a good reporter, and any good links or sources you know. I hope to release the first NL by August 1 so send those apps quickly!!!

One of our students, jim[beam], conducted an interview a few days with DJ Sith and I, and finally got it up on the site he works for (The British gaming website jolt.co.uk). Head on over there to check it out, jim did a great job (and we avoided making fools of ourselves  .

It may be awhile before I can get a card... We had to return it due to lack of money Stupid phone pull (phone bill > Income = Girlfriends fault) (Btw the was, it's a ATI Radion 7000) In the mean time, I will become a semi-productive member of the Jedi Academy, and continue my work on the Jedi Academy Script. Since I can't play the game I will need atleast 5 beta testers. Please comment here if your interested...

Alright, so I'm sure a few of you have noticed that we're adding trainers at a 1-per-day pace (well, for two days at least), and I've had a few of you ask how to become one. Right now we're looking to "promote" from within, so if you know of a player who you think would make a good trainer, either email me or post his/her name in the comments. And if you think you would make a good trainer and would like a tryout, email me as well... just know that we're pretty strict on who we accept.
If you're not currently a student and are here to apply for a spot as a trainer, know that since you're new your tryout is gonna be even tougher, since we don't really know what you're like yet. We're not only looking for skills, but also for a good attitude and leadership qualities. But don't be afraid to still apply

Man, we're on fire lately... I'd like everyone to congratulation Ryo on his appointment as the latest trainer here at the Jedi Academy. He's a great fighter and a good leader, and we think he'll be a wonderful addition to the JATs... Congrats Ryo!

Here's a pretty funny review of JK2 that i saw on Shacknews... be warned, it has some foul language, but if you're ok with that sort of thing, it's a funny read (even if only gives the game an average).
