Silk Monkey as passed his JAT trial and moved from Knight to Trainer. As you might know, the JAT trial is based on showing your teaching skills to your future JAT collegues and Silk did a great job at it earning their approval. Congrats mate. |

I have made a forum post about this but I wanted to draw some more attention to it. I have started a Class for people to play on our siege server and will know when others are on. I have run one so far and had 4 people show up which I don't think is a bad first attempt. The days and times for this will vary in an effort to accomodate people in different locations of the world so be on the lookout for times you can attend and play siege. The next time is this Sunday at 3:00pm EST (check local listings for your time). Information and rules can be found here I hope to see a larger group there this time and that everyone has fun. |

As some of you may remember, Nightcrawler and Monty used to be Trainers at the Academy. Unfortunatly due to Real Life issues they were forced to resign from their job here. They have solved these time issues and are willing to resume their work among us so I'm reinstaing them as Jedi Academy Trainers. On a simmilar note, Shannon has resigned his position because he felt his inactivity is not compatible with the JAT rank. Although this is not an unprecedented situation I feel that an official addressing was in order. Farewell Shannon you shall be remembered and welcome back Monty and NC. |

Ladies and gentlemen, the Thanksgiving Invitational Tournament 2 has ended, and we have a winner. In a hard fought (if not at times boring... drain vs. drain takes forever), D@RtHM@UL has defeated YinYang to be crowned champion of the TIT2! He won the no-force round by a score of 4-3 (and all 7 battles were magnificent), and won the full-force round by a score of 4-2 (although the second match lasted so long that I had to ban the use of drain). For the record, D@RtH chose the Knights of the Old Republic (PC version) as his prize, while YinYang chose Devil May Cry 2 for her cousin for Christmas (how nice!). Congratulations to both of you, and to everyone who fought in the tournament! Demos will be up shortly. I'd also like to public congratulate FaDed and skyler_ on a jorb well done. Both of them stepped up and made sure this tournament ran the way it was supposed to run, and without them the tournament would have been a failure. Thanks guys! |

JamesF1 sent me this trailer for a movie that he and Brother Kow have been working on. IMO, this is a pretty cool trailer, I'm interested to see how it turns out. Best of luck finishing the film guys! EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that you need the DivX codec to watch it. Plus you should have it anyway, it r0x0r5! |

I've given the ok for JATs and JAKs to start posting classes again, so start checking the classes link to the left regularly for new classes to be added! And don't forget, this is a school, so get to class or you get a dunce cap and a seat in the corner! |
