Server Passwords Changed -Virtue- Feb 04 08:34pm -7 comments-
Due to recent events, all Server Passwords have been changed.
Please visit the Servers page to obtain the new Server passwords.

Remember, you are not to give our Server passwords out to anyone, not your friends who are waiting for their applications to be accepted, not even to people who you know are already members of the JA.

If you have been found guilty of this, then we will send Buzz after you and sit back and laugh as he eats your heart. :)

Attention to Applicants -Buzz- Feb 03 07:33am -4 comments-
I have cleared out all of the applications as of the posting of this news post. If you have sent in an application be sure to check your e-mail for approval or decline notifications. If you did not receive one, try logging in with the username and password you signed up with.

If these don't work try and sending in another application.

If you are a family member/dormmate/live in the same house/share the same computer of a current member we ask that you please note this in your application.

And as a reminder to everyone else: If you have a friend who is applying to the academy, that does not mean you can give them the password. Direct them to the servers page and to login to obtain the password and IP's of the servers.

The JA Calendar 2006 - Part II, February -Virtue- Jan 31 02:56pm -7 comments-
So here we are again. Time to reveal the latest calendar sheet, for february 2006!

This time the image itself is a screenshot provided by, our very own, SilkMonkey. You can download the wallpaper from the link below.

February 2006 - Enjoy! :)

Remember that this is a long-term project, and we need all the help we can get. So send in your photos, screenshots, 3D-renders, etc., to our E-Mail and maybe your picture will end up on the next calendar. :)

Keep in mind, that the image should be large enough to fit a 1024x768 resolution. This way we don't have quality loss, since we don't need to enlargen the picture. :)

Keep 'em coming! :)

The Staff Welcomes Dane Back... -Virtue- Jan 15 09:23pm -22 comments-
As many of you will probably remember, Mr. Dane was once a Jedi Knight here in the JA.
While doing a fantastic job in his role as a JAK, he found that his RL was becoming quite busy and he knew that he wouldn't have the time to fulfill his duties. As such he made the very noble decision to step down.

Recently, we have been informed that Dane has managed to steady the busy-ness of his RL and therefore has time to be active and play in the JA again regularly. That's awesome to hear. :)

So back by popular demand, Ladies and Gentlemen, we give you - Dane, Jedi Knight.

Welcome back, Dane! :D

Those who can, do! Those who can't... teach? -Virtue- Jan 09 09:56pm -24 comments-
I don't believe that for a second, because here at the JA, those who can, teach!

And speaking of which, we have two new Jedi Trainers! Woohoo!
Everyone go congratulate Setementor and Dash Starlight on being the latest two people to make the JAT rank!

Congratulations, gentlemen! I look forward to checking out your classes. :D

Don't worry, we have Artoo with us... -Virtue- Jan 09 07:29am -19 comments-
Congratulations R2D2, our newest Jedi Knight!

Everyone go leave a nice message on his profile.
For the first time in a while - we actually have a Duals user on the Staff!

GO R2!!

Happy New Year! -Buzz- Dec 31 06:53pm -23 comments-
The Academy staff would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy New Year.

Have a great '06!

The JA Calendar 2006 -Virtue- Dec 30 06:52pm -13 comments-
As some of you may already know, Ataris has put together a small team of people to bring you a full JA orientated calendar for 2006, he E-Mailed me recently asking me to post the following message from him and his crew:

Hi there fellow JA members!

As some of you might have noticed, we're putting together a JA Calendar for the upcoming year of 2006. The idea of the calendar is to make art flourish in the JA, and give the artistic people a brief moment in the spotlight. This is a long-term project, and we will be releasing new calendar sheets every month during 2006. The calendars are desktop wallpapers, and at the moment we only produce one size(1024x768).

The pictures we use are submitted by our very own JA members, and if you want to contribute with some holiday pictures, screenshots, drawings etc, you can send them to our mailbox.

Here you can grab the calendar sheet for January 2006! (Screenshot by Garos)

Still wondering what this is about? Go to our own thread here and read what this is about.

You can also ask anywone on the crew, and they will give you an answer as they best can.

The crew:

Ataris
SilkMonkey
Eica
Bubu
Piccolo
DarthMike

If you want help with anything, and can't wait 'til someone of the crew shows up, you can E-Mail your thoughts to us. We will reply as soon as possible. :)

I guess that's about it. I sincerely hope some of you take action and send some raw material for us to work on :). And remember, we're going to release one sheet every month, so we will need pictures and screenshots to come in for a long time ahead. It's never too late to send in something. Who knows, it might end up in the next month's issue. :)

Take care, and be safe. :)

- The JA Calendar Crew.

The first one looks awesome and personally, I can't wait to see the others. :)

Thank you, JA Calendar Crew!

Jade Jedi Knight -Virtue- Dec 19 05:56pm -18 comments-
Congratulations to Jade Jedi for doing a superb job in acing his Jedi Knight Trials last week.

There are not many that don't know of Jade's coolness and we are pleased that he is now a Staff member.
Congratulations Jade! Welcome aboard, good sir!

I bet you thought we'd forgotten... New Article Staff! -Buzz- Dec 19 04:47pm -16 comments-
It has been quite a while since the announcement that we were looking for writers, but we've finally gotten around to choosing them.

Please congratulate Kensei, Mic Den Octela, and Monkaiman on becoming staff writers. Expect to be seeing some new articles from them in the near future.

Good Luck to all of you.
