The Jedi Academy is coming up on it's fifth year of service. It's been the talk of the place for some time and a tournament will be held in the honor of it. And pretty much everyone knows that it's going to be an open JK2 tournament.
But up until now the responces to take part have been weak at best. I know for a fact that there are several people out there from the "good ol' days" that still love JK2. It's time for you guys to get the lead out and sign up for this tournament. And to all the new folks that haven't played JK2...Get it and take part! So go..sign up...compete...Now! Alrighty...
Kaelis and I have just finished configuring a few new servers we got for the JA. Unlike some of the other servers we've added on in the past, these ones will be permanent. 
It gives me great pleasure to announce: Euro Home Euro Classes Movie Battles Jaktorow (Aurochs) Rodeo (Aurochs) The operating system for these new servers is Windows, and seeing as the binaries for JK3 are naturally Win32, there is a very high chance that the JAE mod will work flawlessly on them (IE. Not messing with the gameplay, particularly in duels), as we've never had Windows servers before, we've always been trying to get the mod to work on Linux and FreeBSD, which produced complications. Enjoy the new Servers guys! I know I will.  |

I recently got a computer with Windows Vista, and had an issue with multiplayer Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.
I have posted the solution to the error here in the Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy Forum. Anyone else who have had problems running it in Vista and have found other solutions I would hope you post there as well. |

As Kotaku was kind enough to point out, today is the 5 year anniversary of Star Wars: Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast: Jedi Monkey: Rebel Chef: Galactic Shoe Salesman (and so on and so forth), which means... well that might have something to do with a birthday we have coming up.
So a big w00t w00t and a m000 for JK2, a game some of us may prefer and a game that definitely was groundbreaking and AWESOME. |

I've changed our rarely used Projects Server to a Public TFFA Server, the JATs have Rcon to it.
Info can be found here. Please act accordingly on this server and do not lower yourselves to the standards of some of the public e-thugs we are sure to get show up from time to time. Otherwise, have fun. |
