Anyway, they were talking about here one day, and I visited the old site every once in a while, but finally, it said that they were now accepting student apps. In my app, I even told DJ about where I found out about them, but he hadn't even heard of them. Anyway, here I be, number 545. _______________ Captain Barkeep. Well.... I used to play Quake 2 and SOF with some of my buddies at my old job. I started thinking to myself, "I wish they had a game like this based on Star Wars." Then about 2 weeks later, I was shopping at my local CompUSA and naturally had to stop by the gaming section. One of the games they were demoing was JK2 and I flipped!!! So, naturally, I shelled out the $29.99 + 8.75% sales tax and walked out of the store. When I started playing it, I was amazed!!! The only problem I had was with the sabre. The bots would kick my butt most of the time, even when I had them set on their lowest difficulty setting. I got lucky once in a while by using Blue stance and just randomly hitting the attack button. I got sick and tired of it and started looking for some sort of tutorial on how to improve my sabre-fighting skills, so I fired up some Google-action and then... *cue angel music - ahhhhhh*, I found the JA! It didnt take me much time to figure out that he actualy didnt tell the truth, or maybe he was angry for some reason - well whatever- So after he had this little speach I tried to find this place. I was actually on mIRC during a radio show's net nite and just mentioned in passing that I had JA...Acey was there and told me about this sic place, and so I wandered along and joined up. When I got broadband a few weeks ago I started playing online and thought, I should rejoin TJA! So here I am...now I almost never see acey online lol BUT IT'S ALL HIS FAULT! |
