This goes out to all the new JK2/JK3 players out there! Unfortunately, there are people with a little more JK2/JK3 experience than others, who like to ruin the fun for the new players. They do this mostly by telling these new players that they can get for example a new skin or something by executing a special command in the console. Some of these commands either quit the game or disconnect you from the server. Here are two of the commands I see the most: "Write '/Qui Gon' in the console to get a secret skin!" - This quits JK2/JK3 ('/q' works too, btw). "Write '/disco' in the console, and your character will start dancing!" - Disconnects you from the server. I hope I've helped out a couple of new guys with this.  _______________ In the navy and LOVING it!

lol, I remember one of the JAK+'s doing this to me when I first came. JK3 wasn't even out yet! He showed me that he could change the saber colors quickly... Pfff. Most impressive display of "naive newcommer in the JK series" I've ever seen, was when some German CTFers I know managed to make a new guy quit the game thrice, disconnect four times, and finally they got him to reinstall it.. |

I told some guy on a public server that the login for admin was something like /q Adminlogin power he believed me.. came back and said it didn't work.. In my old clan, I used to tell people who were just granted admin powers that you can't kick yourself or that you cant kick yourself w/o a reason. One time someone did /amkickban <self> Cause Obi says it won't work. Yeah it was a good couple hours until he was able to get back on the server The moral of the story: 1.)
