This craggy, barren world is so old in fact that its rotation has decayed such that one side is constantly facing the sun and the other is facing away. The immense heat of the day side and the blistering cold of the night side create an interesting meterological condition; an immense wind that constantly blows from the day side. Most of the native Twi'leks live in dwellings carved right out of the rock on the edge of the night side, barley surviving on the warm winds that blow in. They harness this wind with giant turbines and windmills for electricity. The largest natural export of Ryloth is a medical mineral called Ryll, which is supplemented by the export of some small machines. |
