Does anyone know why all Jedi have green or blue and Mace Windu has purple. And why doesnt any Jedi have orange or yellow colored saber  |

wow have none of you read the star wars new guide to weapons and tecnology? when light sabers are built the owner picks what color of crystal they use. blue and green are the most common but....(hang on getting the book......ok here we go)before the battle of Ruusan, jedi ignited saber of every hue, purple, orange, and even gold! but after the emporer came to power, he razed or quarantined numerous llum crystal rich planets, thus resulting in relying on the common blue and green. After the rebellion, Luke Skywalker and the new jedi order reclaimed those planets and allowed us to used awesome colors in Jedi academy. as for mace windu's saber, He braved the rock covered natives of Hurikane (yeah i know it sounds stupid) to collect crystals to make a rare violet color. oh and the sith dont have red blades, its blood red............. thats all i got, enjoy _______________ none This comment was edited by none on Jun 25 2008 05:10am. |

i don't see why lightsaber colour has to be restricted to your side,

oh yes, Red colour is used by dark, because of the crystal. its a 'fake' crystal, manufactured. the jedi use 'real' ones (natural). Thats why the dark side always has deep red crystals. green, blue and purple are the standard jedi colours. yellow and orange are dark and light side colours.
