Good work on the numbers, Tido. This might not be the appropriate thread for it, but a couple of thoughts... I keep seeing the ~1700 number for total active students. How was this figure divined? Obviously "active" includes those who post on the forums and/or hang out in IRC but never (or rarely) actually go out on the servers. Okay, fair enough. We're a gaming community, and one can be a member of the community without playing on our servers. But when estimating the percentage of students who are padawans, I think it's a little silly to include people who don't even play on the Academy servers. We should look at the percentage of those who are active on the servers who are padawans. Another thing to consider is that the raw number of padawans each JAK+ has tells only part of the story. Another factor is time. I've only been a JAK for ten days. How many Padawans do you expect me to have? _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |

While I sit in this stupid class on how to use excel, I used the time to make a spreadsheet on JA statistics concerning JAK+ vs padawans. Now, don't take these numbers for granted...the statistics don't take into account such things as people who are no longer going to take padawans, people who have left the academy, ect ect. Just something to glance at for kicks, don't consider this accurate. ♠ ♠ ♠ ♠ ♠ ♠ ♠ ♠ ♠ ◙ well i use the double saber style. i'm part of the light side. and i'm pretty good, but im pretty crappy at single , in all styles, 50% good in yellow though. and i've played staff, so ican fight with one, jsut not good. so i need a master... and that i kinda forget sum class's andi dont really enroll in alot. and i'll be a good pad. hehe  and that my timesone is -8 pacific. yup! its me Gohan (or call me angelos if you want to) i have posted here about 4 times and havent found a master (yet?) so lets post again. Im using all kind of saber, but most singel saber, well im using red most then yellow and well i dont use blue much so a little blue. im not a pro, BUT im not a newbie but my skills are weak (havent trained for about 2 months, only chatting and just rp'ing and that stuff) so it would be nice with a master to train me, learn me some attack, when and where to attack and so on. feel free to post in my profile.
