ok, at first for what ever reason, i could not see when other people chatted. i couldn't even see my own chats. i solvec this by typing seta cg_chatBox "10000"
seta cg_chatBoxHeight "60" but now when a chat appears it lasts for about i sec and then its gone. but my friend sees themvfull? suggestions?  _______________ Brother to Quill You don't understand. I'm not locked in here with you, YOUR LOCKED IN HERE WITH ME! |

If your conflict hasn't been resolved here's something you can do. Download the Latest version of Ultra Utility and run it with Jedi Academy. Open the in game menu, go to rendering options, and there is a place to control chatbox size and speed. Might work better than just the commands

Defaults for me are:
seta cg_chatBoxHeight "350" seta cg_chatBox "10000" That should make the text appear for 10 seconds. Maybe it needs to be different for you though. Try setting cg_chatbox to 100,000 instead of 10,000. |
