In order to use maps that you downloaded and stuff, you have to add the pk3 file to your game data base, right?
Well, when I try to add a file, at first it said "The folder is a sub folder of the destination folder." And then it stopped saying that last time I tried it, and it said "Are you sure you want to copy this file, some things may be lost." (Along those lines, bare with me please!) And a little box will open showing that it is being copied, but it never progresses to 1% Help is appreciated!  Really? Because I've been using PC's for YEARS now and just like anything, if you use it right and don't go clicking on dodgy things PC's are perfectly fine and can be upgraded easily and cheaply. Well...most of the hardware on an Apple machine can be put in a machine using Windows or Linux. So arguing that Apple has better parts seems redundant because they don't really have different parts from what's offered to a PC. Well...maybe a different motherboard.
Are you referring to the build quality of a PC? The people who take the parts and make your machine? Well, what builder of PCs are you referring to? Dell...HP...Toshiba...Velocity Micro...Maingear...there are so many builders who vary in the quality:price of their machines. What else would I mean besides "Personal Computer"? Even with the old QXX processors they are still PCs. Even the green screen computers running DOS during the 80s were PCs!

Ok , Here is something I hope will help you :
When you first download a map or skin ... The pk3. file is downloaded as a ZIP (in my case) . After The download its completed , enter the zip folder (usually with winRAR ) , select the pk3. files you want , right click on them and press "extract to the specified folder" then you select your Game data/base folder (Ussualy in C:/Program Files/..../Game Data/base) and press 'extract here"(or something like that) and you just wait for them to extract and you are done . Second case : If you already have the pk3. files in your computer , and you want them in your base folder , Select the files , right click , Copy , You go to base folder and then Right Click , Paste .
