hello all, i'm new here it seems like a great website that can realy help me. i already started signin for classes and after i realized that the server require a pass. and i don't know the pass  what can i do how do i get the pass? |

But you can choose which mod you're using while you're connecting by either connecting/disconnecting to a server running that mod, or if you have the files to run a server using that mod, you can load the mod and connect to the JA servers. It would connect with one mod loaded, then load the one the JA server is using before you load the map, I believe.  Something like that may have messed with it, I guess. |

you don't get to choose. it's determined by the server you're joining. you run whatever mod the server is  _______________ this is the internet, be serious damn it! |

If you have the JA+ mod loaded when you try to connect to our servers, it won't let you, because they aren't using it. Exit the game and open it again, without choosing to use JA+, and it should work. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |

i found the problem it's the ja+ 2.3 mod .pk3 files that make this problem anyone can tell me why?..i want to use this mod |

Welcome to the Jedi Academy. It could be a problem with switching from the default game to the mod the Academy's servers use. If you get the Invalid Game Folder error, try bringing down the console and typing /reconnect if you haven't already. I've not actually experienced this error myself, but it could be a possibility. |

I get invalid game folder errors too, I simply connect again, and Im in Sete told me it has to do with the game being in Base as a default, and gets 'confused' or something when u come play at the JA for some reason. Yeah, i think this shows Im no expert in this field LOL. In any case, Just going back t the menu again and connect again should work. It works for me Anyways, welcome to the JA, and I hope to see u on the servers soon _______________ The name is Bond. James Bond. |

yes i restarted the game..and the map name is still with .pk3 |

well if you are connecting to tja.net servers... you should make sure that the_academy_v2.pk3 still is that and not the_academy_v2.pk3old otherwise you can't connect to the server because the game doesn't see that you have the map... mostly the unpure client is solved by restarting the game (not reconnecting but restarting the game) _______________ Get on your feet and do the Funky Alfonzo! |

ok i changed all .pk3 files to .pk3old accept the assets0/1/2/3.pk3 well everytime i go in to the game first of all when i try to connect it gives me the msg "invaild game folder". after that i try to connect again and then it still givinig the unpure problem with the .pk3 files. |

Nah that's not the problem... you probably have installed custom skins and/or maps... just rename those to .pk3old or someother extension then .pk3... for example keiran.pk3 rename to keiran.pk3old _______________ Get on your feet and do the Funky Alfonzo! |

Ok, first of all... relax.... Unpure PK3 error is nothing to worry about... just exit the game and try again... If that doesn't work, go to your GameData/base folder and rename all the custom pk3 files you have installed except for the_academy_v2.pk3, that should do the trick _______________ Get on your feet and do the Funky Alfonzo! |

baaa..now i did go in but i have diffrent problem. it sayd : " Server disconnected: Unpure client detected. invaild .pk3 files referenced!" what to do?.. |

Take a look at the server pages... if you pay close attention you will see that there's a password displayed too, only if you're logged in though... _______________ Get on your feet and do the Funky Alfonzo! |
