We are in the process of cleaning up the game servers of some cluttered space and are currently going through all the current skins to see which are most used, and which are least used. If you would like to help, you post here about one of the skins that you think we should remove from the server, or you can visit JK3Files and find a skin that you think would be a good addition to the servers. At the moment, we only have a small update, Syntax Error, which won the latest Academy skinning compeitition.  |

I was going to edit the madalorian skin but it says in the readme your not allowed...thats unless you asked or your the creator. Personally, I don't think any of the skins should be removed, yet, I'd like to have as a separate skin the one that replaces the stormtrooper model, because it's cool to be a stormtrooper ("move along", "it's them! blast them!!" and I can't become one. The only thing I do think should be removed immediately is the blade decoloring mod (I think the name of the file is Tekk_blades.pk3) that is included in the camouflage pack. I don't think it is really useful because an ignited lightsaber is impossible to conceal, plus, a Sith with a pink lightsaber looks like a Teddy Bear!!! COMMENT EDITION: I forgot to ask you to put back to the server the revandark hilts that were temporarily in use for a little while. If anyone wants these hilts, just contact me. _______________ Once I heard about something called "real life". I think we should be able to submit personal skins...maybe if we all got together with our personal skins I could make a large pk3 file with them all in...of course they would only be skins not models and not replace the ingame skins. And of course I could make them so yiou had to know the command line eg reborn_new/demostrike is mine and not able to select them on the main char screen. 1) This would stop others using your personal skin 2) It wouldn't blog up the selection screen 3) It will be one pk3 so the server could easily locate them all. Go through and get rid of all the duplicate skins. Too many troops, droids, Emperors, Fetts... even a few too many Fistos. Also, I'd recommend getting rid of some of the servers (of the ones that are all on the same machine). No one ever plays on the jk2 ones anymore, so get rid of all of them except jk2home. If someone wants to play another gamemode on that, they can get an admin to change it. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. We have too many boba / jango skins! 13 I think. Too many versions of the robots, too many troopers. The JK2 skins are so old they fart dust. Especially the emperor skin, too many of those. _______________ Gone but hopefully not forgotten... |
