I know this is a few days late but... yea. Here it is, straight from the Roddyman himself:
"Although this is probably my 1st comment on my own profile, it unfortunately will be my last. I've been training here at the academy for a pretty long time, seen members all of types come and go. I've had a lot of fun here at the academy helping others, and it was definitely a blast. But the time has come for me to pick up my saber and continue on with my own path in life. It probably would be better to head out on top anyway  ,lol. I wish the academy the best of luck, and hope that it will continue to be as strong in the future.
Farewell to all, and to all one last dance: *slaps on Essa Rios music *dances " Rod was one of our original trainers, and the oldest member of the Academy we had besides DJ and I. We wish him the best of luck in all the *dances that will come in the future. *UPDATE* For those of you who have never actually heard the Essa Rios music... Here it is. |

I, for one, will miss the mass slaughters at the hands of Rod. I once watched him kill me and a group of 8 fighting him all at once. Definately a great jedi. But the Roddymania will live on and hopefully return one day. Not banking on it, but it would be nice.
Thanks for all the great duels, even though there wasn't much competition. I mean from me anyway. Later Rod. There is not much to add to the vast list of student compliments posted. I can only say that Rod was and will always be the best.
He recently rejoined the academy with a surprisingly positive attitude and I was hoping he would stay for good. What sad news. Although I heared it today, it's still a shock. He was the best fighter with the saber I ever saw and just a weird guy. I never understood his crazy dances but I learned to love them and take L-Rod as he was, a quiet, highly skilled Jedi. He woke up latetly and opened his mouth more often. So I even hoped to get his padawan one day. And now... he left. The list of lost friends gets longer and longer. Maybe we'll meet to another time, in another life - who knows.
