The JAC's have been working out a trial process to get you folks promoted. The only one set in stone right now is the 1st rank (the Learner rank).
Earning the rank of Learner proves that you know basic knowledge of the game, the Jedi Academy, and a small amount of dueling strategy. Most of you I'm sure will pass this with your eyes closed, so don't worry. It won't be near this easy for Journeyman or Knight. 
Here are the criteria for earning the rank of Learner: Demonstrate your ability to perform the following moves: (Note, I've added these descriptions, taken from Shadow Warrior's comment, to help clarify the moves)
You must duel a JAT in the stance you're most comfortable with and have another JAT witness it. These JAT's will ask you a very small amount of simple questions about dueling strategy and the Jedi Academy. If the JAT's trialing you approve you for the rank of Learner they'll let one the Council members know to make the rank change official. Please post any questions you may have to this post. Like I said this rank is a simple one, merely to make sure you have a grip on basic moves and tactics. The hard stuff will come later for you ambitious folks. Good luck to you all! |

Hey lord, you did here somewhere that there was a JAK...ME heheheheh. To begin your trials you'll need to track down 2 JAT's to trial you. JAT's: maybe you should set up a class just for trials.. kinda like a martial arts "belt test". _______________ My car is made of Nerf. |

Guys.... the back sweep or spin or whatever you want to call it is where your in yellow or red stance, you have you back turned, to them and they are right behind you, if you learn how to do it, you player will then take the saber and 180 around with a side slash............ i cant believe you didnt know what it was.....

lol i don't think we should EXPLAIN the moves here after all you should LEARN the moves first and THEN do the trials
