New EU Server -Huxley - Apr 18 04:28pm |

I'm looking to get some feedback on this server:
188.138.74.140:29170 It is set for 'public' now, but if it works well, I will upgrade and de-brand it and put a TJA password on it. The server is based in Germany, I'm curious of this will suffice our needs or not. Please respond to this post and let us know what you think! *EDIT* Thank you to ZantuS for pointing out my incorrect usage of UK when I meant to say 'EU' Sorry if I offended anybody :-( |

Tegir: We always use the pure server setting on all our servers. At least all the ones I've hosted :-/
You probably have some bogus pk3 file somewhere. I'd do a clean-install to a new folder, and just copy over the pk3's that you need one at a time, along with your .cfg files - good luck! |

I have a problem with connecting, because this server is pure. I tried deleting some things in my folders, but it didn't help. Could you make it somehow unpure server? |

Oi-vey... you are correct! I meant 'EU' not 'UK' - the news post has been corrected to reflect this. I even put EU on the servers page - doh!

What makes this an UK server if it's based in Germany?

I went ahead and added the server into the Academy Servers' page, and put the same password on it as the other EU server was.
It is loaded up with Virtue's gorgeous the_academy_map_v3 and should hopefully not lock anybody out. If it does, someone please EMAIL ME!! (my email address is valid on my profile page) |

I don't know what the password thing was about - I restarted the server and it was fine. I think it was some lame Multiplay thing when the server crashes? They recommend having it force-restart everyday but I disabled that option for now... |

Hmm, that's weird about the damages - its jkbase with 0 configuration changes added
I don't want Kaldor spreading any more false rumors about me changing the server configs for ghoul2 settings !! |
