I've gotten the map done and have a system of putting ppl on the map. It is very similiar to Tido's, not a lot of it is different. OMG!!! RAAAAAWWRSS!!! Here's the thing guys, I'm a pretty busy fella these days and making maps is pretty time consuming. If someone else would like to take it over that would be great. Here's how you do it: 1) Find a GOOD map of the USA, with all the states lined out and no writing or citites on it (you'll have enough writing and dots). Get everyone's city/state and open up your favorite maps website (mapquest, google maps, etc). Try your best to locate where each person is on a large map. 2)In your favorite image editing program (which is photoshop btw), have the map as the bottom layer, then create a layer for the dots. Make your dots brightly colored and small but visable. Do not ever let 2 dots touch eachother and do not use any anti-aliasing on them. 3)In seperate layers, create the names of each person in a font that looks good in a small size without anti-aliasing (like Verdana). Make sure each name is in a seperate layer because you may need to do some adjusting later on. 4) Export to a web-friendly format, there ya go! |

MOTREC in Manitowoc (I lived in Two Rivers  )n00b near Sheboygan Ulic in Fondy Orion in Madison (used to live there too )Me in Milwaukee Da Cheeseheads are running Da World. Orion...I have some of your stuff in my backyard. Those tornados yesterday picked up stuff from the Madison area and deposited it 80 miles to the east, here.
