Right now I am running my linux box through the Command line. I have the commands to start it and also start is in different mods. I am looking for the kill command that I can type to stop the server and retart it. This will also help cause I am putting a small CP up for my players to do this if they need. Thanks All. Bye the way ways JAR 1.4.5 ever released or is there someone I can get it from. Thanks again.

The rcon command to stop a server is 'quit', or 'killserver' if you don't care about being graceful. I don't recall whether there's one to restart - usually to restart one just reloads the current map, or kills and restarts the server.
To kill any running servers from the command line, use 'killall linuxjampded'. To kill a single server, use 'ps ax' to find the PID of the server you want to kill, and use 'kill <pid>' to kill it. _______________ Saving the world, one kilobyte at a time. |

Well thank you, But I am still looking for the commands for linus to run on my box in a CP. I have been around JA for 4 years and have seen virtue's latest in JAE and really still prefer Jar. Thanks though. Can anyone else help me with this. |

JAE is the latest. Its extremdly stable and held firm to my attacks when I beta tested it. JAR is out dated, JAE is C1's latest. |
