Yeah obi-jk I got that all the time and it stopped me playing siege the answer: not sure I was only able to play on Pure Servers until I reinstalled the game I think it might have been one of my pk3 files that was interfering so I havent installed any skins yet _______________ Rawr.

I just downloaded a lot of the 3d party siege maps and am now getting a weird error when I try to join some servers (I think only at certain times, and even if they are running one of the standard 3 maps) It says something along the lines of: Unexpected EOF at: @SIEGE_KORR_TEAM1_LIGHT_JEDI (this is at the korriban map) Has anyone else received this? Lies!! Freelance is better than any clan :p. I just got off a game of siege, adrenalin still rushing.  I've been to SMC, but there's not enough people for my taste. six to a side isn't my taste. I prefer at least 8 per side. I will not disagree, thought, that SMC clan members are amazing siege players. Yeah, I have been playing a quite a bit of seige lately and I really hate public servers....... I am a pretty busy person, so when I sit down to do something fun, I want to enjoy it. Today (I forget the server I was on) in the span of 10 minutes teams went from 8vs8 to 10vs6 to 12vs4 to 4vs12 to 8vs7 (someone left) Now in this time I said: "Um teams are uneven, could someone please switch" .... "teams?" "teams?" ..... <insert profanity> TEAMS!!!! And all of sudden, people are yelling at me for being an ass......... Here are my questions: So is it really fun to win a round of Seige in like 4 minutes cause you have twice as many people as the other team? What about, the opposite, the other team never advancing and 2 or 3 people on the defense team never seeing any action cause the 3 people on offense just get mowed down at spawn. I am missing something about, how to go about this? I politely stated teams were uneven like 7 times. Last time I played Siege was *looks at clock* 23 minutes ago. siege_desert, LS Jedi, 125+ points by the end. (kills + objectives)(although that's a bit flukey, usually nowhere near that good) No, I haven't heard of SMC, have you perchance heard of BFA? Either way, I'd much rather play with you than argue in a forum. I'll post the IP of the server we're usually on next time I go in game. Obi-JK: No, there aren't any new siege maps. Siege owns for many reasons and I mean JA Siege would be able to play the new maps that are on offer because Ive had them for ages and still havent played them! O_O Plus you gotta keep them organised and modded a game of siege can turn into a brawl quite quickly and I know one public Siege server that still has an happy Xmas message is always popular and the teams are never fair etc. Its constantly on the Hoth map and people lame the walker, bridge and bridge codes... (steal codes and get in atst walk around and they cant be beat because of FF) so you know... _______________ Rawr.

If you could get 10 or so people all on the one server at the same time who all want to play siege, I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard to convince an admin to change either the classes or the ctf server to siege for a game. But you really need to have enough players or else it is pointless. _______________ A wizard did it. |

sometimes people are just to lazy to stay on a server for like 5 min untill other comes on it (im talking about the siege server) so when we had it, i jumped into all JA servers and told them to come to the siege server and when alot came it ruled, though sometimes no one came on  _______________ Learn To Forgive, Not Forget |

Well let me ask a question: If Siege came back, would people play it? I ask because we had a Siege server before, and people never played. I'd log in hoping that people would see somebody on and join, but nobody ever did. If there isn't enough of a demand for it, can we schedule some outings to a public server to play? Maybe there are fifteen active people at the JA who love Siege, and maybe we can work out our schedules to get ten of us together at once for a game. That's not enough for a real game, but it would rock to have ten of us go join a rockin' public server all at once. _______________ My signature is only one line. You're welcome. |
