I'm having trouble connecting to the servers. I can get into multiplayer ok, and it's in my favourites, but when i type in the password and click join, a loading screen comes up saying "awating connection" with a number next to it, that counts up. I've waited until it got to 100 but it still didn't connect. Right. I tried that and it does the same thing. Except ont FFA it says 'Awaiting Challenge'. Also, lower dow the screen it says 'Server Uses Protocol Version #' (Sorry, can't remember the number) Is there anything else i need to download before i can join the servers? Any Mods or updates? If you are in the UK try the wireplay server first. That should give you the lowest pings. Also, those ping commands (which are at the bottom of Aratans FPS guide) won't help unless you can actually connect to the server. And though they mention dial up, aren't really optimised for it. _______________ A wizard did it. |

Hmm, you should totally turn off your firewall and try. I used the JK3 Server addresses. Well, not being on broadband shouldn't matter, I've seen people with 56k get in. Try disabling your firewall completely for the game, you really don't need it when you play jk3. And also, what server address did you copy? On the servers page, the ones starting with [JA] are Jedi Outcast servers, and can't be seen or connected to through Jedi Academy. I've got the IP address right, and the password. I told the firewall to allow access to the internet for multiplayer too. Is it taking a long time, maybe? Should i wait longer? Make sure you have the server IP address copied right. Also, if you are using a router and/or a firewall it may be blocking you from connecting.
