To join the Academy's servers, make sure you have at least downloaded "the_academy" map from this page, then stick it in your Base folder(Which is where you installed JK:JA on your computer.). Don't worry about the other things, they're not required to play on the servers, just add-ons you can download. Load up your copy of Jedi Academy Multiplayer. Then, on the main menu, click on "Play" then "Join a Game". On this screen there is a button saying "New Favourite", click that. In the box that pops up with "Enter I.P Address", type in the I.P of the server you are trying to enter. You can find the I.P of each of the Academy servers here. Then click "Done". Click "Refresh" and the details of the server should appear in the list. Double click on the server and a box asking for a password will appear. You can find the password for each server on it's corresponding page here. Click "Done" and it should start connecting. You're ready to play! Just stick to the rules and you should be fine. Hi there! I'm Furious, another Australian Student like you. You can call me any of these names: Furious, Fur, Fur D'orin, Ferret. I've been appointed to you to show you around the Academy via the Student Introduction Program. Basically it appoints students we already have to new students to show them around, answer any questions they have, teach them a few hints and tips of the Academy, and be a friend. If you take a look at my profile you will see my MSN address and AIM screenname, so feel free to add me to those and send me a message. If you don't have these you can just talk to me via my profile, which you can do by clicking on my name and/or my picture and clicking the "Add Comment" link on that page. When you're able to get on, send me a message, and i'll give you the tour of the Jedi Academy's map, the_academy. Oh, and don't forget a copy of my uber-leet-freehand-paint-drawn map with a picture of the whole map and the names of each of the rooms.
